No one knows us better than the Father knows us. Since I gave my life to him almost 40 years ago I have been truly amazed how He has rescued me from the hands of my enemies. God knew what was best for us when He gave us His Son Jesus who came that we would have life, and life abundantly.
What does "abundantly" mean in the Bible?
The term "abundant life" comes from the Bible verse John 10:10: "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." "More abundantly" means to have a superabundance of a thing. "Abundant life" refers to life in its abounding fullness of joy and strength for spirit, soul and body.
John 10:10 (TPT)
10 "A thief has only one thing in mind—he wants to steal, slaughter, and destroy. But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect life in its fullness until you overflow!"
My life is found in You, Lord. You, are my strength, and all of my hope. I will continue to praise You with all of my heart. Getting to know You has been the best decision I could have ever made. Lord, even in the tough times, You give me the strength to continue advancing forward. The world would say that You mean to hurt me, but I know that is not Your nature, for You, O Lord, are love.
I ask You, Father, in the name of Jesus, to rescue my friends that I know now and for those friends that I am about to know in my future. I pray for Your healing and resurrection to go before me into the battlefields of life and bring the precious fruits of Your Spirit on my friends in an abundance of Your mercy and grace. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
Blessings on the journey, and remember that the best is yet to come.
