Mark 9:23 (KJV)
23 "Jesus said unto him, 'If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.'"
Testimony: We were on one of our mission trips to Honduras, Central America, when an outbreak of the Swine Flu sweep across the nation. My twin brother, Dane, got sick, and he needed to go to the hospital to get checked out, which wasn’t an option. It turned out to only be food poisoning. Praise God!
My coordinator, Carmen, asked me if I would go with her to pray for someone while waiting for Dane to be released. So we went down the hall to a small room where this woman was laying on a bed. She looked to me like she was paralyzed. The doctor came in along with several family members. I got trapped at the head of the bed, and was watching one of the ladies cry as the doctor was talking with them.
I didn’t understand what they were saying, so I decided to lay my hands on the sides of the woman's face and asked the Father to heal her. After a few minutes the woman began to scratch her face and rub her stomach. One lady let out a gasp and the doctor, who had a shocked look on his face, started checking her out. It looked like a good time for me to leave so I quietly slipped out of the room. I found out later that the woman wasn’t paralyzed. She was dead.
Thank You, Father, for I’m not sure had I known she was dead if I would have been so bold as to believe for that. All things are possible. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Blessings on the journey, and remember the best is yet to come.
