Isaiah 60:1-2 (KJV)
1 "Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.
2 "For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee."
Take this for what it is worth -- there is a light shining in your life and it starts today. The glory of the Lord rests on your life and we are moving from darkness into a marvelous light.
Update: In a few minutes we will be heading up to our first devotional time with our group here in Honduras. We normally discuss the events of the previous night's services. We also meet with pastors and friends to pray over our schedule for the day. God sent us here to encourage them to have faith, to trust that God's Word is truth.
Yesterday was a day full of changes. We are in a different hotel here in San Pedro, which is nice but since 1996 we were at the Hotel Sula. We are caught up in knowing what to expect there, but we are having to make a few adjustments.
The pastors are grateful for us being here and they are looking forward to see what God has planed for us while we are in their country. In one service we had several healings and others who gave there lives to Christ.
Father, there is so much hurt, fear, and confusion that only you can provide the peace that is needed. Thank You for the Holy Spirit that gives us direction. In Jesus's name, Amen.
Blessings on the journey, and remember that the best is yet to come.
