Be Strong in the Lord

October 1, 2020

I am starting up the devotions again, and will send this one out to everyone that is on my list. If you prefer not to receive them on your phone just let me know so I can remove your name. I am also putting them on my webpage at www.cgmok.com.

Proverbs 3:5-6

5 "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

6 "In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."

I was reading a prayer this week, and saw some things in it that set off something in my spirit man. It made me stop and want to adjust myself accordingly.

The prayer was reminding us that the Word of God is being laid aside and is being discounted as no longer being the truth. At a rapid pace there has been a replacement of looking good religiously in these last day, but denying the power to go with it.

In this prayer I heard the word coming through loud and clear saying, "Let us embrace God’s Word with courage not allowing it to slip away from us."

Just one real encounter with God can change everything for us, and no matter what the circumstances may look like, that encounter can completely convince you to do the right thing.

Father, as we face each day that may be filled with uncertainty, as changes are occurring around us continuously, as we look to You we find that Your Word gives us the strength to face them unafraid concerning our future. Thank You for giving us direction as You protect us. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Blessing on the journey, and remember that the best is yet to come.
