Psalms 122:1-4 (TPT)
A song of the stairway, by King David
1 "I was overjoyed when they said,
'Let’s go up to the house of the Lord.'
2 "And now at last we stand here, inside the very gates of Jerusalem!
3 "O Jerusalem, you were built as a city of praise, where God and man mingle together.
4 "This is where all the tribes of Yahweh are required to come and worship him."
When I go to what has been coined by many as the church, or the house of the Lord, I get super excited to finally arrive at my destination, and then get to enter into a house that is filled with the praises of God's children.
Testimony: We just spent ten days in Illinois going from one church to another, and the excitement keep rising to higher levels with each service. From salvation to deliverances, healings, water baptisms, and getting some filled with the Holy Spirit are just a few things that we saw.
However, for me, the greatest thing we experienced were those times of praise and worship that we had together with our old friends, and with our new friends that we made there. It’s a terrible place to be alone in this world, and that’s the plan that the devil has for us; divide and conquer.
I felt so alive being with my friends, and the presence of God was with us in every moment that we had to share together. Whether it was sitting around a table or in each conversation we had. We leave for New Orleans next week to minister once again at Mardi Gras, and plans are being made for our arrival there. I’m so excited!
Thank You, Father, for giving us this opportunity to serve You and to come into Your presence with thanksgiving in our hearts and give You praise. In Jesus's name, Amen.
Blessings on the journey, and remember that the best is yet to come.
