Committed to Serve the Lord

January 8, 2021

Proverbs 16:3 (ESV)

3 "Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established."

It is time for us to be making decisions on the direction that we are going in this year of 2021. There will be many responsibilities to tend to, and with that comes lots of opportunities. So let's get ready.

Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV)

6 "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

7 "And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

You cannot always do things your own way and think that God will bless your plans. You commit to serve God by doing it His way, and then your plans will become established.

Stay focused and set your mind on the Lord instead of the circumstances that are confronting you. Last night I had a dream where I saw many people that I have worked with throughout the years coming together in a large place. The stage was being set up for the worship and then preaching of the Word of God. I was getting excited with anticipation of the presence of the Lord in such a great way.

Father, there are so many things that are coming our way and I desire to serve you. I give you my commitment to serve. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Blessings on the journey, and remember the best is yet to come.
