Don’t Settle for Less

James 1:12 (ESV)

12 "Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him."

I can hear the Spirit of the Lord saying to us to make a stand to face the adversities you are in right now. Make the best decision of your life by staying the coarse in Christ. Hold onto your destiny “which God has promised to those who love him.” See the devil for the lier that he really is. If he says that you can’t do it, then you can count on making it through this; yes, all of it and receive that crown of life. 

God calls you blessed when you make the decision to remain steadfast. The world will say you are crazy, but hear me when I say God called you blessed! Even the church may criticize you, but hang on because God will tear open the heavens to get to you and rescue you! Come on and praise Him! Don’t settle for less than what God has for you.

Romans 8:31 (KJV)

31 "What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?"

Thank You, Father, for showing us that is not our own abilities that qualify us to receive the crown of life, but it’s what Jesus did that purchased it for us. Help me to reach out and grab ahold of what’s best for me and for my family. In Jesus's name, Amen.
