1 Peter 1:13 (BSB)
13 “Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ”.
Okay, so let's do that. Let's prepare our minds for action. One of the definitions that I looked at for "prepare" said this:
1. to make ready beforehand for some purpose, use, or activity;
2. to put in a proper state of mind is prepared to listen.
This definition to a timing issue that requires us as the listeng believer be open to hearing the voice of God because there is a harvest that is right out in front of us. Amen. I’m not speaking for God here, but my spirit is looking for the manifestation of that right now.
I have been in what I call a "standby position." Watching and preparing myself for the next move of God, which is always on my mind. I mean ALL of the time. In the Book of 2 Chronicles 20:15-18 a message was given to King Jehoshaphat for him not to fear a great horde, for the battle was not his but God’s.
God then gave him instructions on what to do to prepare for battle. He showed them where the enemy will be but in Verse 17 He say they will not need to fight in this battle. His instructions for them were to: "Stand firm, hold your position, and see the salvation of the LORD on your behalf."
Thank You, Father, for reassuring us with Your Word that this is not our fight, but it is yours. We will stand and see the salvation of the Lord. We will hold fast our position, for our hope is built on You alone. You are our Lord and our God. We are getting ourselves ready for a move of God! Hallelujah! Amen!
Blessings on the journey, and remember the best is yet to come.
