“Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, saying, ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.’” And they remembered His words. Then they returned from the tomb and told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest”
What will it take for us to be convinced that Jesus Christ was raised from the dead? What did it take for the disciples to be changed from a group of frighten people to become courageous soldiers of the cross?
I can boldly tell you right now it wasn’t some fairytale story that they had heard. No, it was what they saw with their own eyes; Jesus, the Son of God, was raised from the dead. Come on somebody--Praise God!
I do believe that this generation we are living in now will see signs, wonders, and miracles unlike anything we have ever seen up until now.
Many times I have heard a good friend of mine say that you simply cannot make this stuff up. I have personally witnessed with my own eyes the power of God being manifested throughout the earth today.
I can hear the voice of the Father saying to us, His children:
“Do not be afraid, only be strong and very courageous for I the Lord thy God, am with you. I will visit you in the night with dreams. I will give you visions during the day of things to come before they take place. You will take the gifts of the Holy Spirit that I have provided for you to use as weapons for pulling down strongholds in Jesus's name.”
Father, I come to You on behalf of Your kingdom here on earth, and in humbleness and meekness of spirit, I ask for Your favor to cover our team that is leaving for Honduras tomorrow morning. Break our heart with compassion for the lost. In Jesus's name I pray, Amen.
Blessings on the journey, and remember that the best is yet to come!
