I went through a couple of days last week feeling like I was being overwhelmed with an intense sensation of oppression. It came at me like large waves of the sea that keep crashing down around me one after another.
As I continued to read Psalms 46:3 in The Passion Translation it says that; “For the raging roar of stormy winds and crashing waves cannot erode our faith in you. Pause in his presence.”
Our feet are planted on the rock, and no mater what kind of storms come our way, the faith that we are standing in won’t be able to wash away our foundation.
Testimony: We arrived at a restaurant to have lunch with some friends. Amy was talking to me while we were waiting to be seated, but I could not grasp what she was trying to say to me at that time. I could hear her speaking but could not understand a single word she had just said to me.
I found that the only thing I could do at the moment was not to make any kind of response to her, but to only focus on the Lord for help. I asked the Lord what was gong on, and He spoke to my heart that I was feeling someone’s pain that was standing close by me. It’s a form of intercession for those that are lost where you can actually experience their emotional state of mind. The hostility and fear people have is spreading like a terrible disease across nation and around the world.
Father, I desire to set my focus on Your Word where You said that Your rivers and streams flow through Your cities, and that You bring with it a delight and a joy, making us secure and never shaken as it says in Your Word. You spoke to us that as the dawn breaks, Your help will be seen as the earth begins to disintegrate before You. We will exalt You forever and cast all of our cares upon You. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
Blessings on the journey, and remember that the best is yet to come.
