Psalm 46:1-3 (KJV)
1 "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 "Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 "Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah."
Psalm 46:1-3 (TPT)
1 God, you’re such a safe and powerful place to find refuge! You’re a proven help in time of trouble--more than enough and always available whenever I need you.
2 "So we will never fear even if every structure of support were to crumble away. We will not fear even when the earth quakes and shakes, moving mountains and casting them into the sea.
3 "For the raging roar of stormy winds and crashing waves cannot erode our faith in you. Pause in his presence."
Here is something that I found concerning the global pandemic that challenges us today. “What are you focused on as you live through a global pandemic? What is grabbing your attention? The COVID-19 virus has caused unbelievable havoc for the entire world. Markets are shaken; countries are closed. People are fearful, and panic seems a breath away. How do we respond?”
Thank You, Father, that You are our strong tower. I place my confidence in You alone. Help strengthen us, Your people, to step it up and run the race before us with boldness at Your command. That we not get out ahead of You in self-confidence, but by the assurance of hearing Your words with our sights set on you. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
Blessings on the journey, and remember that the best is yet to come.
