2 Timothy 1:6 (KJV)
6 “Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.”
As we look at this scripture we can see that the responsibility to stir up the gift of God that is already in us really lies in us.
Do you remember the day when Jesus came into your life and saved you from a life filled with death and destruction? I see so many believers that have forgotten who they are and they spend most of their time focusing on the present crisis times of trouble they are facing.
The more that you face trials and tribulations the more it looks like all hope is gone. Remember that there have been times when it was a lot worse than this and God brought you through it! Can I get an Amen from someone today?!
Remember how He healed you when the doctors said that there was no hope for you? I remember how God delivered me and set me on a path that set me free from difficult trials. Praise God!
Excerpt out of The Sparkling Gems by Rick Renner:
“So the next time the devil tells you there is no way you’ll survive what you’re facing, take the time to get alone with the Lord. Then hit the rewind button, and ask the Holy Spirit to help you regather and recollect all those past events when God came through for you! As you replay those memories over and over in your mind, your faith will rise to a new level of confidence. You’ll be able to look your problems right in the face and say, “God’s record with me has always “been faithfulness, and I know He’ll be faithful to me now as well”
Thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness to deliver us through bad times and bring us into a land flowing with milk and honey. I pray for delivery from the hand of the enemy and bringing us safely home. In Jesus's name, Amen,
Blessings on the journey, and remember that the best is yet to come.
Amen 🙏
