Psalm 95:1-5 (The Message)
1-2 "Come, let’s shout praises to God,
raise the roof for the Rock who saved us!
Let’s march into his presence singing praises,
lifting the rafters with our hymns!
3-5 "And why? Because God is the best,
High King over all the gods..."
When you are shouting praises to God you aren’t doing it to get His attention. God is not deaf, but you are doing it to get your attention. Praise God. So come on! Let's raise the roof up off this place! Can I get an amen from somebody here?
I heard this testimony once were a little girl was in school, and the teacher told her to sIt down. So the girl replied, "I will sit down out of obedience on the outside, but I’m standing up on the inside."
How about you? Are you standing up on the inside during this test that the world is facing? Believe me, it won’t be long before we are marching into His presence singing praises. Hey! Let's raise a hallelujah in the presence of our enemies!
Father, give us the voice that will shake the nations; the voice that will restore them to a strong foundation of faith. As the Psalms say, You are the best. You are high and lifted up over all gods. There is no God like our God, Amen and amen!
Blessings on the journey, and remember that the best is yet to come.
