Jumping Into Action

Give me a thumbs up if you got this please.

March 8, 2021

I was asked today what my favorite book of the Bible was and I responded that it was the Book of James. I have found great comfort in how it has given answers to some very difficult questions for me with simple answers.

It is filled with rich information in giving us instructions on how to find those moments of joy in the middle of stressful circumstances. It shows us why we struggle so much in getting our prayers answered. And it gives us a strong foundation of how to rest in Christ.

We need to rest in His promises for our lives, and become doers of the Word not hearers only. This book is calling us, the believers, to jump into action and be the body of Christ in our generation. James is written to us to encourage us to do good and act in the faith that we have.

James 2:17-18

17 "In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

18 "But someone will say, ‘You have faith; I have deeds.’ Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do.”

Thank You, Father, for bringing me instructions on how to live my life to the fullest. In Jesus's name, Amen.

Blessings on the journey, and remember the best is yet to come.
