Ezekiel 3:10 (KJV)
10 "Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak unto thee receive in thine heart, and hear with thine ears."
Last night I got a nudging from the Lord that I needed to go to my church. I felt that God had a word for me there. I was walking across the parking lot and thoughts were running through my mind about a incident that had happened on death row a few years ago. I even stared to weep as tears began to flow down my face.
The minister that spoke that night must hadsurly been thinking about me as he spoke words that penetrated my sou, and hey, he didn’t even know that I was in the crowd.
I was greatly blessed by his message, and I went home to rest from the stress of the day. The news was playing on the tv and they reported that all executions in Oklahoma were canceled today until an investigation could be determined on weather the injections used were humane to use. I didn’t even know that they had any excecutions scheduled at the time. The men on death row weren’t even on my mind but they were on His.
God was speaking to me and I am very grateful for His constant directions given to me in my life. If we would only listen and receive His words that are spoken in our ear it would save us from great hardships and deep disappointments.
(To be continued in Friday's devotion. )
Father, I pray that all those men will listen to your heart speaking to them with open eyes and ears before their lives are snatched away for ever. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
Blessing on the journey, and remember the best is yet to come.
