Matthew 28:19-20 (ESV)
19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 "teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
I hear the cries of people all around me saying that they don’t know what God wants for them to do in their life. We are all searching for the purpose that He made us for, but the circumstances that surround us are making the road hard to see.
Then I heard the Lord speaking to me from an article written by Joyce Meyers saying “live life on purpose.” The devil wants to make you feel worthless, and I know that that is not true, my dear brothers and sisters. If that were true, God would not have paid such a tremendous price for you.
The closer you get to receiving the promises that He has for you, the harder the devil is going to hit you blow-after-blow to make you feel like you don’t count in the grand scheme of things. Please don’t buy into that lie, but “live life on purpose.” We are counting on you to shake off these attacks with God's Word as a sword of defense, the Holy Spirit as your Guide, and Jesus, the King of Kings, leading you up the hill in a full array of glory, praise God!
Remember the old song they use to sing in the revival meetings way back in the day that goes like this:
“Victory is mine
Oh victory is mine victory today is mine
I told Satan to get thee behind
'Cause victory is today is mine
Hallelujah saints,
You’ve got this and God's got this
So, rejoice and be glad
And again I say rejoice."
Father, I’m putting my trust in You. I’m looking ahead to my future and this is my song to sing, "What a mighty God we serve." So, Father, thank You for words that encourage us to stand up and fight, for Jesus is Lord. In Jesus's name I pray. Amen.
Blessings on the journey, and remember the best is yet to come.
