Looking Ahead

June 20, 2022

Philippians 3:13-14 (NKJV)

13 “Brethren, I do not count myself to have apptrhinded; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,

14 "I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

Apprehended: to grasp with the understanding; recognize the meaning of.

Look how the New American Standard  Bible states this verse.

Philippians 3:13 (NASB)

13 "Brothers and sisters, I do not regard myself as having taken hold of it yet.."

I have not made it to the finish line yet.  Have you? Can I get a witness from somebody. Praise God.

I am letting go of the things that leave me feeling like I have lost my grip on any kind of hope because of my past mistakes and failures. Truly the future in Christ looks bright. God's Word has become a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. I’m looking ahead, praise God, to a glorious victory in Christ Jesus who will always causes me to triumph.

God wants us to keep on striving, keep on trying, and to keep moving on; trying to reach our goal. Never give up. So, first of all, we must stay focused, and secondly, we must press on. There's just one more thing that I want to leave with you, take the Lord with you.

Thank You, Father, for Your many blessings hidden in Your Word that come out just at the right time to rescue us from the plans of the enemy hoping to destroy us. In Jesus's name, Amen and Amen.

Blessings on the journey, and remember that the best is yet to come.
