Philippians 3:12-14
12 "Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
13 "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14 "I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."
The devil is doing his best to cause the body of Christ to stumble and fall flat on our face by looking at our past mistakes. My granddaughter shared with a group of people in New Orleans that as long as you keep hanging on to the past it’s impossible to reach ahead to get the prize that the Lord has for you.
What can we do today, and in the days ahead, to live for Christ until we meet with Him face-to-face? How do you see meeting the Lord face-to-face? I am not waiting to meet up with Him in the by and by. I am meeting up with Him, and joining forces with Christ to do everything that I can to destroy the works of the devil. As Paul said, I may not have obtained or am made perfect, yet, I will continue to follow after Him.
The signs, wonders, and miracles that I have seen in my lifetime are unbelievable to witness. As a friend of my once said to me when I shared some of them with him, "Now that’s a wow!" I take no credit for what the Lord does, but I sure will tell you what I have seen with my own two eyes.
Thank You, Father, for giving me the unction of when to walk, to run, or to stand still at Your command. I desire to press on towards the goal of receiving what you have for me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Blessings on the journey, and remember the best is yet to come.
