Spirit and Power

October 5, 2020

1 Corinthians 2:4

4 "And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:"

Every time I look at this scripture I find that I can really identify with what has been so powerfully described to us here. What awaits us in the days ahead is going to take a whole lot more than the enticing words of man's wisdom bless God.

Testimony: We were holding a mini-crusade at the central park in the city of San Pedro Sula, Honduras, when a woman came up to us asking for prayer. She had a large lump in her stomach, and she was very poor. After we prayed for her we told her that she needed to go and check for the lump. She came running across the park shouting, "It’s gone! The tumor is gone!" Our crowd doubled in size and we saw many of the people give their lives to the Lord. God was demonstrating the power of His Spirit that day.

God is faithful to us, amen. When He says He is going to do something in your life, you can count on it. Activate the Word of God in your situation and run with His promises.

Let me ask you a question if I may. Where is your faith resting in? Is it in man’s wisdom, or is it in the power of God’s Spirit? The miraculous manifestation of God is standing ready to defend you. There is power being manifested in the words that come out of the belly of your spirit and makes your way prosperous.

Father, I thank You for protecting my family, my friends, and for increasing the boarders of my faith. Help us in the desperate times and in the good times. I pray this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Blessings on the journey, and remember that the best is yet to come.
