When I arrived at home last night I was greeted by my three dogs that were really glad to see me. The little dog wanted to play as she keep jumping up on me demanding my attention. My Lemon Beagle, LB, moved in between me and the little dog. But it was my daughter’s German Shepherd that caught my attention the most. It was like she was waiting for me to give her instruction on what she was suppose to do next.
The other dogs lost interest fast and went off to find some other entertainment while the German Shepherd followed me all around the house. If I went into a room and shut the door, she would be setting by that door until I opened it. Then she walked closely by me for at least another fifteen or twenty minutes.
I found this quote on the the computer: “According to, when you stay close, nothing can separate you from the love of God! Not the heavy weight of calamity, poverty, frustration, tribulations, abandonment, nor turmoil; not even death...”
Romans 8:38-39 (TPT)
38 So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that his love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love.
39 "There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One!"
Father, keep me in the shadow of Your wings. I know that I am protected because Your Word says so but I will stay close because it feels soooooo good. I pray this in Jesus's name, Amen.
Blessings on the journey, and remember that the best is yet to come.
