Isaiah 43:18-19 (ESV)
18 “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old.
19 "Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert."
We are preparing to go to Honduras on the 1st though the 15th of December. We have started purchasing our tickets, and will be making arrangements on what we will be doing there. The nation is waiting for a move of God and I don’t want to miss it.
God said for us to look for new things to take place and not to get caught up in the former things. He said that they will spring forth. Don’t you perceive it? Praise God! I can feel the excitement rising up in me now!
This is not like the trips that we have taken before in the years gone by. For example, we have not been able to hold our annual fundraiser, or make announcements way ahead of time. Even in traveling to other outreachs that have been canceled make it more difficult to finance this trip. But God has been sending us what we need for each step along the way. The tickets that we purchased can be used on this trip, and if something comes up, there will be no extra charges to use them later.
Father, You have helped us to cross over treacherous waters and delivered us out of the hands of our enemies more times than I can count. Thank You for giving us the vision to go. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Blessings on the journey, and remember that the best is yet to come.
