Jeremiah 1:9 (KJV)
9 "Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth."
Jeremiah 1:12 (KJV)
12 “Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.”
While we are in route to New Orleans these words come up out of my spirit, “What do you see?” We are running in front of an ice storm, and we will travel as far as we need to in order to escape its destruction. We have seen cars and trucks on the sides of the road caused by the storms that have come a few days early.
We have talked to other members of No Greater Love Ministries who are also heading for the Gulf Coast, and they have told us how God has been placing His hand of mercy and grace on them as they shared about God's love along the way.
What do you see?
God told Jeremiah that He would put words in his mouth as well as give him great authority to “root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.” This battle that we face is not with flesh and blood but with powers and principalities, and rulers of the darkness. God has commissioned us to go and speak with the authority that He has extended toward us.
Father, we wllingly set ourselves in position to be used by You at Your direction. We judge ourselves to be unable to perform under our own strength, and depend on You to bring us through this fight victoriously. In Jesus's name we pray, Amen.
Blessings on the journey, and remember that the best is yet to come.
