Mark 10:46-49 (KJV)
46 "And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.
47 "And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
48 "And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
49 "And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee."
The story leaves us with two questions: 1) Can God heal us? and 2) Will God heal us? The answer to both of these question is YES and YES.
If we listen to what the world has to say, they will leave you with the conclusion that only if God wills you to be healed then you will, but the world also says that if it's not God's will then, no, you won't be healed.
Verse 47 said, "And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me."
They tried to stop him from from reaching out to Jesus, but he only cried out even louder, "Jesus have mercy on me." Jesus is God's mercy shown through His precious sacrifice for you and me.
Father, I’m so grateful for your gifts of healings that You bring to us each day. I pray that the voices of unbelief are drowned out with shouts of praise as we give You honor! In Jesus's name , Amen.
Blessings on the journey, and remember the best is yet to come.
