Proverbs 16:9 (ESV)
9 "The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps."
I have a difficult time when I let my heart get in the way of God's plan and purpose for my life. When I do, I end up hurting those that I love and care about the most. I stand at several doors today that have the possibility of shattering the dreams and visions of those that God has placed into my care.
I pray for Godly wisdom on how I can move forward without compromising my faith and my integrity as a man of God. I have always been one who looks for, and sees, the best in people and that has caused me to stager putting one foot in front of the other in order to walk in a straight line.
The Lord is sending me those that are called to walk alongside of me and to be an encouragement in tough times, as well as the good times.
Thank You, Father, for establishing my steps as I finish my race. Forgive me for some decisions that I have made that may have caused some of those closest to me to stumble and fall. Give me the wisdom to make the necessary steps to reestablish and encourage them to stand up as strong warriors on the battlefield of life. In Jesus's name, Amen.
