Have you ever been around someone that spends a lot of their time praying, and when you look into their face there is this glow about them. I remember one time sitting at the table with my parents and a tornado was heading right for the house. My father was talking to us about Jesus, and there was this calmness about him that set me at ease concerning the situation.
We found out later that the tornado went right up to the property line and then lifted up over the house setting down again at the edge of the property on the other side of the house missing us entirely. At the time the only way I could explain it was it looked like my father's face changed to someone else’s face and it glowed.
If you are born again, then the Spirit of the Lord lives on the inside of you. This means that the presence of the Lord is always with you. The veil that kept you blind has been removed, and you can experience revelation and freedom from the letter of the law.
2 Corinthians 3:5-6 (TPT)
5 "Yet we don’t see ourselves as capable enough to do anything in our own strength, for our true competence flows from God’s empowering presence.
6 "He alone makes us adequate ministers who are focused on an entirely new covenant. Our ministry is not based on the letter of the law but through the power of the Spirit. The letter of the law kills, but the Spirit pours out life.
Thank You, Father, for bringing us into this new life. For it is by Your great and powerful presence that we can truly overcome. You have made us to be more than enough to face each day with the peace that I felt that day at my father's house with destruction bearing down on us. Even now as the world goes crazy You have our lives in Your hands, and we walk in perfect peace. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
Blessings on the journey, and remember that the best is yet to come.
