This is the Day That the Lord Hath Made

November 1, 2021

Psalms 118:1 (KJV)

1 "O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever."

Mike,Tony, and I are sitting at the testing station waiting to receive our COVID-19 tests before leaving for Honduras tomorrow morning. I am excited about this trip but hate to leave my family behind. I am great full for all of God's goodness and for His mercy.

I was looking up an old song that we use to sing back in the day, and ended up reading the words to a song that I have never heard before. These words spoke to me and seem fitting for this trip.

“This is the day, your life will surely change

This is the day, when things fall into place”

Mike is on his way now and I am in line waiting for them to unlock the door so they can continue with the testing. It feels like the devil wants to stop me from stepping over into this new change in life.

Psalms 118:24 (KJV)

24 "This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it."

Father, I pray for my friends that are being attacked with sickness and ask you, in Jesus's name, to drive it far away from them. Bring a refreshing from the Holy Spirit that is filled with joy. In Jesus's name, Amen.

Blessings on the journey, and remember that the best is yet to come.
