To Tell the Story

April 5, 2021

Romans 5:8 (KJV)

8 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

This song came up in my spirit so I want to share it with you. It’s a reminder of God's great love toward us.

"Tell me the old, old story

Of unseen things above

Of Jesus and His glory

Of Jesus and His love

"Tell me the story simply,

As to a little child

For I am weak and weary

And helpless and defiled.

"Tell me the old, old story

Tell me the old, old story,

Tell me the old, old story,

Of Jesus and His love"

The doors of opportunity are standing wide open. We can clearly see that now is the time for us as believers to stand up and take our place in the plan God has given to us.

To tell the story, well, I have been told that I am good at telling stories. Yesterday my phone gave me an alarm that a message was sent to me. It was from someone in my past from Honduras, Central America, that reached out to inform me of a place that our ministry could stay at next time we get to go on our missions trip there. It started to activate my faith in going once again on a great adventure with God.

Thank You, Father, for nudging me in the right direction as You use the Holy Spirit for the plans that You have prepared me for. I can’t wait to see what is to come next for us here at Common Ground Ministries. In Jesus's name, Amen.

Blessings on the journey,  and remember that the best is yet to come.
