Psalms 150: 1-2 (KJV)
1 "Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
2 "Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness."
What do you think it would be like if you lost your memory? Forgot what your name is, where you live, who your spouse is, your children, where you work at? The list goes on.
Testimony: Doug was a high-school friend that I grew up with in the 70s. I met him again several years later, and he was on the worship team at the church were I surrendered my life to Christ. I thought if he could get saved that there was hope for me too.
He got hurt on a job when he got hit on the head and lost his memory. He forgot everything; how to brush his teeth, shave, how to get dressed...everything. He was one of the best drummers that I knew, and he couldn’t even remember how to hold the sticks, or even keep a beat with them.
Doug could make the drum-set talk to you as he moved you when he played. One of the elders wrote a song out of Psalms 150, but we in could not play it anymore because Doug couldn’t remember how to play them.
Then one Sunday morning all of his memory came back to him, and we had church, praise God! There was not a dry eye in the house! It was in an instant that he got all of his memory back.
Father, I pray that the Church, who I believe has lost it memory about who they are in Christ, will get an instant manifestation of all of our memory being returned to us, and the whole world will see your glory as it streams across one nation to another. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Psalms 150:5 (KJV)
5 "Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. 6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD."
Blessings on the journey, and remember that the best is yet to come.
