We are in a hotel in Monroe, Louisiana for the night. We will be here for at least one more day, maybe two. One of our rear shocks blew out, and we are looking for a set of tires for the van. This blowout with the shocks happened right before the exit to our hotel. Praise God. Everything is closed here in this city, so pray that we can find what we need tomorrow so that we can get back on the road again.
Several people have come to our aid, and sent us funds to help us meet the extra expenses. I want to, once again, thank you. I need to make some decisions that will help facilitate our moving forward so please keep us in your prayers.
When you find yourself in limbo, when things look like they are returning to some since of normalcy, don’t be surprised when someone throws a monkey wrench in the works. Just stay focused, and be determine to keep moving forward.
Philippians 3:12-14 (0ESV)
12 "Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own.
13 "Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead,
14 "I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."
I am truly blessed with my brothers from No Greater Love ministries. I feel your prayers for us and I lift up your needs this day, in Jesus's name. Father, I ask that You pour out a blessing on these faithful men and their families in the name of Jesus, Amen.
Blessings on the journey, and remember the best is yet to come.
