God IS love. He is the very definition of true, unconditional love.
Romans 8:38-39 (ESV)
38 "For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,
39 "nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."
At this very moment God is setting things into order in our lives so that we can start a new phase in the calling that lies before us.
When I got up this morning I could feel God's overwhelming favor activated on our behalf, keeping us safe from harm's way.
We are in Plano, Texas helping a friend move to Oklahoma as we partner together in the ministry. Half-way to our destination we noticed our driver's left, front tire was hot to the touch. Being that it was a Sunday we couldn’t get it fixed until today.
We praised God and prayed for favor. The tire cooled down such that we were able to make it to Plano safely. It is in the shop now being repaired as we speak. I am replacing the brakes, bearings, rotors and some other things on both front tires for our safe return home in the morning.
Thank You, Father, even when it looks hopeless You are there to rescue us from the enemy’s plans to derail us. I believe and I receive what I pray for, and I thank You for sending us the finances to pay for the repairs. Thank You for getting our focus on the ministry opportunity ahead of us in St. Louis on the Fourth of July. Thank You, Father, for the unconditional love that You have for us as Your children. In Jesus's name I pray, Amen.
