What Causes You to Get Distracted: Part Five

December 4, 2020

In conclusion: We have seen that focusing on the problems surrounding us can cause one to become double minded. When I was trying to make up my mind which way to go I almost got into an accident that would have caused me even more problems.

James 1:5-8 (KJV)

5 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

6 "But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

7 "For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

8 "A double minded man is unstable in all his ways."

Definition of upbraid:

1: to criticize severely : find fault with

2: to reproach severely : scold vehemently

I needed to stop the wavering motion that I was in. Have you ever found those people that all they could do is complain about everything? Take the time to listen to the Lord. Take heed to what He was saying. Stay calm in adversity so you can get back into a stable position once again.

Father, I realize that You have my best interest at heart, and there is no one that can separate me from Your love. I am getting stronger everyday as I follow Your instructions and leap forward toward my destiny that You have planned for me. I thank You for giving me this opportunity to reach one more soul for Your kingdom In Jesus' name, Amen.

Blessings on the journey, and remember that the best is yet to come.

PS. Hear God and walk by faith.
