Proverbs 3:1-4 (TPT)
1-2 "My child, if you truly want a long and satisfying life, never forget the things that I’ve taught you. Follow closely every truth that I’ve given you. Then you will have a full, rewarding life.
3 "Hold on to loyal love and don’t let go, and be faithful to all that you’ve been taught. Let your life be shaped by integrity, with truth written upon your heart.
4 "That’s how you will find favor and understanding
with both God and men—you will gain the reputation of living life well."
My greatest desire in life is to hear the Lord say to me, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant." Even though life may have thrown many curveballs at us along the way, as the scripture says, when we learn to stay close to the Lord it has proven to bring us into a safe haven. Amen.
People ask how do we trust in the Lord with all of our hearts. Look at this definition I found: it tells us “that when one is leaning there has to be a shift from that comfortable and stable upright position. And this is the same with God, we must let go of that seemingly reliable thing we are trusting and lean back on him. That is when our faith becomes active and he can work.”
Father, the times You have set into motion the moments where my faith has been activated to trust You are to numerous to count. But You have proven to be my Help in time of need. I am grateful that I have found favor with You, and I want to continue to gain understanding so that I can live life well. I pray for my family and friends, for good health and healing in their lives and I ask that You help them to lean back safely in Your arms. In Jesus's name, Amen.
Blessings on the journey, and remember the best is yet to come.
