Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)
6 "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."
I want to please the Father, and it requires faith. So would God tell you something like this and then not make it possible for you to obtain it? Taking God at His word and trusting Him to do what He said He would do goes a long way in your story being told like those we see through the examples that the Bible give to us.
The list of faithful men and women goes on throughout scripture, helping to encourage us to not give up on those things that we hope for.
By faith, David confronted a giant with only a sling and a stone (1 Samuel 17).
By faith, Peter stepped out of the boat when Jesus invited him to come (Matthew 14:22–33).
The accounts go on and on, each story helping us to understand the biblical meaning of walking in faith.
One step taken each day towards your goal will get you closer to achieving your reward. So don’t give up now. You’ve come too far to quit. I encourage you to set your face like flint and stare those mountains in the face taking charge with the authority that Jesus purchased for us! Praise His name forever!
Father, this is my desire: to honor You in all that I say or do. Even though I may not feel like I have done a good job, I am not one that is without faith. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by Your word and I believe Your word to be true. I refuse to stop short of my goals that You have set before me. In Jesus's name, Amen.
