You are the God of the impossible

April 27, 2021

Luke 1:37

"For with God nothing shall be impossible."

Check out this read I found on a website:

"‘When life hands you a lemon, make lemonade,’ wrote Norman Vincent Peale, who published his best known book, The Power of Positive Thinking, in 1952. It stayed in The New York Times bestseller list for 186 consecutive weeks. Much of what he had to say was extremely good and helpful. But, the words of Jesus go way beyond the power of positive thinking.

"Norman Vincent Peale said, ‘A positive mental attitude is a belief that things are going to turn out well, and that you can overcome any kind of trouble or difficulty.’"

Jesus said, ‘With God all things are possible’ (Matthew 19:26).

This is far more than the power of positive thinking. It is the power of God that makes what seems impossible possible. Nothing is impossible with God.

Can I get a witness from somebody here today? There is nothing! There is absolutely nothing impossible for our God. The devil thought he had defeated God by killing His only begotten Son. Now He has multiple Christians that look like Jesus, that talk like Jesus. They are anointed like Jesus, and, I’ve just got to say this, we are all standing on the promises that GOD has spoken over us in the mighty name of Jesus! There is nothing that is impossible for our God!

Father, I lift up all of my brothers and sisters today and speak words of encouragement over them. Rememder when he thought he had defeated you as he hit you blow after blow, but you are still standing! Hah! God has opened our hearts to be witnesses again of His great power! In Jesus's name, Amen.

Blessings on the journey, and remember that best is yet to come.
