Hebrews 11:5
5 "By faith Enoch was taken up so that he did not see death: “He could not be found, because God had taken him away.” For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God."
This came out of an article I read entitled "Knowing Jesus:"
“It was Enoch’s walk of faith that was pleasing to the Lord. And it is as we walk in close communion and intimate fellowship with our heavenly Father, by grace through faith in His Word, that we too become pleasing to Him. And like Enoch, we are waiting for Christ’s any day return, when we will be caught up to meet the Lord Jesus in the air and so we shall ever be with the Lord. Let us comfort one another with these words."
Testimony: I am looking forward to when Christ will return to get us and take us to heaven. Some people don’t believe that this is going to take place but that’s not me. No, sir!
I remember coming home from work one day when my children were little but they and my wife were no where to be found. I had this terrible filling of fear that came over me that I had missed the rapture, or the catching away of the saints. I’ll will never forget that feeling as long as I live.
When my family came back into the house my heart was filled with an unbelievable joy as I hugged and kissed them over and over again. It made me want to please the Lord even more so that I would never experience that kind of felling again. Remember the Word says that it is impossible to please God without faith. I have been on a journey to be commended as one who pleases God like Enoch.
Father, thank You for the gift that You have given to us by sending to us Jesus, Your Son. I commit my life to You and seek to learn more about You, more about Your Son, and more about Your Holy Spirt. In Jesus's name I pray, Amen.
Blessings on the journey, and remember that the best is yet to come.
