Look What the Lord Has Done:
"Look what the Lord has done
Look what the Lord has done
He healed my body
He touched my mind
He saved me, just in time
I'm gonna praise His name
Each day He's just the same
Come on and praise Him
Look what the Lord has done"
A layman was sitting outside the gate making alms to those who entered when Peter and John came upon him. The layman was expecting from them, Peter said, "Silver and gold, have I none. But such as I have, I give unto thee." That's when the Spirit touched the layman and he leaped up to his feet crying, "Look what He's done for me!"
Testimony: Two of our team leaders, David and Harold, met a homeless man outside of the church that we were staying at in Indiana. He had been struck by a car and was walking with a cane. Both of the men prayed with him to be saved and knew that there was more that needed to be done.
They talked to the pastor to see if they could baptism him in the church baptistry, but it would take several hours just to fill it up. There was a creek running down the side of the church so they went down in the creek and baptized him. He came up out of the cold water completely healed and praising God.
He went out on the street that night with us and carried that old rugged cross, and never stumbled under the weight of it.
Back in the day, one of my leaders at NGL told me that things always seem to work out for us when we get under the cross. Hey! look what the Lord hath done!
Thank You, Father, for placing compassion on the hearts of David and Harold to reach out with a touch of Your mercy for that young man. Help us to sense Your presence in this raging war and do something with our faith. In Jesus's name I pray, Amen.
Blessings on the journey, and remember that the best is yet to come.
