Hebrews 11:6 (TPT)
6 "And without faith living within us it would be impossible to please God. For we come to God in faith[b] knowing that he is real and that he rewards the faith of those who give all their passion and strength into seeking him."
In the KJV it’s says, “But it is impossible to please him...” Brother Hagin said that if God demands that we have faith to please him, there must be given a way to receive it for it to be justified. But God is just in that he has placed within us a way to be able to get this faith, but the responsibility rest in us to do it.
In Romans 10:17 it reads: “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Most people never take the time to open their Bible and read it so they stumble through life defeated. If you need faith you will find it in the pages of God’s written Word.
Testimony: We were scheduling a missions trip to Honduras, Central America and the Lord took me to Psalms 20:1-2 (KJV):
1 "The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee; 2 Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion)."
We found ourselves right in the middle of disaster and that Word sprung up in my heart as I felt my faith being activated as it rose to the occasion. All medical supplies along with food and numerous supplies was turned over to the church so help did come from the sanctuary. It gave me strength.
Father, as we prepare to take steps of faith to run the race that is set before us, we thank You that Your word gives us direction, protection, and a firm foundation to stand on. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Blessings on the journey, and remember that the best is yet to come.
