What Does the Lord Require of You?
December 16, 2020
I remember when Jesus, the Light of the World, came into my life and turned my harden heart into something I was not capable of doing on my own. Things looked incredibly different as He allowed me to look through His eyes that were filled with compassion.
Now, many years later, God has entrusted us as His children to take the resources freely given to us and then lift up humanity with spiritual gifts that will encourage them to not give up.
Testimony: As I write this testimony to you today it comes only weeks after devastating blows to Central America with two hurricanes coming upon them; the first as a Category Four followed by a Category Five less than two weeks apart. They were then hit by a tropical depression that came within a week or so of those two horrible storms.
I was told that both hurricanes, upon reaching the borders of Honduras, had been coming into the country as tropical depressions but it still did devastating damage to the nation.
Covid-19 has claimed the lives of many as well as diseases like Dingy Fever and the complications of all the carnage they are digging up out of the mud slides.
God has given us, through His children, finances to buy food, medical supplies, and clothes to help those who have lost everything. I want to thank everyone of you who unselfishly gave your time and financial needs to reach out to a hurting nation.
Father, I ask You for the wisdom of how to continue giving these resources according to Your will so that You may be glorified. I lift up all of Your children that are caught in this hardship there in Honduras who are giving their time and substance to reach out to others in hard hit areas. I pray for Your protection from sickness and violence. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Blessings on the journey, and remember that the best is yet to come.
