You Are All That I Have
December 2, 2021
Psalm 16:5-11 (GNT)
5 "You, Lord, are all I have, and you give me all I need; my future is in your hands.
6 "How wonderful are your gifts to me; how good they are!
7 "I praise the Lord, because he guides me, and in the night my conscience warns me.
8 "I am always aware of the Lord's presence; he is near, and nothing can shake me.
9 "And so I am thankful and glad, and I feel completely secure,
10 "because you protect me from the power of death. I have served you faithfully, and you will not abandon me to the world of the dead.
11 "You will show me the path that leads to life; your presence fills me with joy and brings me pleasure forever."
After receiving the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior the fear of death has lost its sting over me. My life no longer belongs to me, it belongs to Him. So I put my trust in You, oh Lord, to deliver me from the snare of the fowler. Your Word brings light before me so I can see where I am going to fight the good fight of faith. Praise God.
When I stumble along the way, You always pick me up snd set me back on my feet again. You are my shield and my strength. You drive out all fear because perfect love cast out all fear. Hallelujah!
I pray, Father, that You bring comfort and magnify Your peace over all Your children today. Thank You for bringing everything that we may need to finish our race that has been set before us. I need You more today than ever before. In the name of Jesus, I lift up my friends who are being confronted with darkness and speak joy into their lives. Amen.
Blessings on the journey, and remember that the best is yet to come.
